The Get Down

Maniac

You might think you're going crazy in isolation, but it's nothing compared to the people in this single season show who are institutionalized before divulging in a fantasy life through induced dreams. Starring Jonah Hill and Emma Stone, Maniac is a quirky and comedic show worthy of a binge. 

Queer Eye 

A popular feel-good show that capitalizes on the satisfaction of a good makeover story. Each season takes place in a different American city as the Fab Five revamp people's lives through glorious home makeovers, chic haircuts, newfound cooking skills and most of all, self-confidence. Unorthodox

When They See Us

This series depicts the famous 1989 'Central Park Five' case when five black and Latino teens were wrongfully convicted of raping a woman in Central Park. This one-season show is poignant and compelling and a timely pick for those looking for films and T.V. related to police brutality and civil rights. 

Mindhunter

Crime junkies and thriller fanatics alike love Mindhunter, which follows two FBI agents as they interview notorious American serial killers and catalog their psychological patterns. If you've always been a Criminal Mind's fan this show is perfect for you. 

Big Mouth 

We all know how incredibly awkward puberty can be — Big Mouth takes all of our pre-pubescent nightmares and turns them into this R-rated cartoon. This series scored 100% on Rotten Tomatoes for good reason — it's hilarious and chock-full of incredible comedians like Maya Rudolph, Nick Kroll and John Mulaney. 

Wild Wild Country

This docuseries details the exploits of the world's most controversial guru, who traveled from India to the Oregon desert to build a city for his fanatic followers.
