The Utica House welcomes you! With its spacious and bright bedrooms, updated kitchen, hardwood floors, and ample amenities (hello, in-unit washer and dryer!), you’ll feel right at home.
Location
The Utica House is just a 5-minute walk from the Crown Heights–Utica Avenue station where you can access the 3/4/5 subway lines. Lower Manhattan is under half an hour away! Grocery stores, gyms, delis, pharmacies, and other necessities are all within close proximity, making your daily errand run easy.
This space is move-in ready; all you have to do is show up.
We worked with interior designers to make the house comfortable and charming for all of our members in any room of the house. We used only the best suppliers and materials for the furniture, from real wooden cabinetry to updated countertops.
We’ve thought of all the little things you need to feel right at home upon arrival.

Standard rooms
Each spacious Standard bedroom features an equally sizeable closet for all your belongings, a TV, high ceilings, and beautiful crown molding.
Standard Large rooms
Our Standard Large rooms offer everything as Standard rooms–a TV, high ceilings, large closets, and crown molding–but boasts more square footage. A great option for those who prioritize extra space!
Executive rooms
The sunny Executive suites are equipped with a full private bathroom, TV, and enviable closet space, as well as the high ceilings and crown molding featured throughout the apartment.
- Amenities: Full-size memory foam mattresses, pillows, shelving, organizational tools
- Services: Bedding is available for an additional fee
The Living Room
An inviting living room complete with a TV and dining area awaits as you walk into the Utica House. The open layout allows for leisure and socialization, and you’ll certainly want to linger.
The Kitchen
The recently renovated kitchen is as spacious as the rest of the house. Cooking will be a breeze with plenty of counter space and updated appliances.
- Amenities include Electric stoves, stainless steel fridges, microwaves, coffee machines, cookware, utensils, cutting boards–in short, everything you’ll need for cooking (and eating)!
- Also included: Paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, all-purpose cleaner, sponges, and garbage/recycling bags
The Bathrooms
Each apartment has one and a half bathrooms available to all.

Backyard
The fenced and furnished backyard offers a private outdoor area for you to enjoy warm days and nights with roommates and friends.
The Neighborhood
Crown Heights offers many great dining options: Check out nearby Carribean eateries like Ali’s Roti and Lakou. It’s also ideal for those who live an active lifestyle: Lincoln Terrace/Arthur S. Somers Park offers tennis and basketball courts (as well as a BBQ area); nearby Saint John’s Park has baseball and soccer fields and plenty of greenery.
Make a day trip to the Weeksville Heritage Center museum to learn all about the fascinating history of Weeksville, the Crown Heights neighborhood where the Utica House is located, founded by freed slaves in the 19th century.
